Dalat, the capital of Lam Dong province, is situated on the Lam Vien plateau in Vietnam’s Central Highlands. Historically, this area was inhabited by the Lach, Chil, and Sre peoples of the Co Ho ethnic group. Perched at 1,500 meters above sea level and surrounded by mountains and lush forests, Dalat enjoys a mild, year-round climate. With over a century of history, the city boasts a rich architectural heritage reminiscent of early 20th-century European design, earning it the nickname ‘Little Paris.’ Dalat’s pleasant climate, stunning natural landscapes, and architectural charm have made it a top tourist destination in Vietnam, drawing millions of visitors annually. It’s also known as the ‘Misty City,’ ‘City of a Thousand Pines,’ ‘Flower City,’ and ‘Little Paris.’

Nha Trang, located in Khanh Hoa province, is renowned for its stunning bay and tranquil coastal setting. Known as ‘the land of Frankincense and the sea of Nest,’ Nha Trang’s climate is relatively mild, with cooler winters and warm summers that are not too intense. This ‘Pearl of the East Sea’ is a popular destination for both local and international tourists.

Traveling between Nha Trang and Dalat offers various options, including local buses (affordable but less flexible), taxis (expensive for the long journey), and the best choice, a private car with a fixed package price. The distance of approximately 130 km, taking around 3 hours, allows for scenic stops along the way, such as rice fields, mountains, and beautiful beaches.
