Dong Hoi, the capital city of Quang Binh, offers visitors the opportunity to explore stunning beaches with fine sand and clear blue waters, such as Nhat Le Beach. The city is also in close proximity to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, renowned for its extensive cave systems and grottoes, as well as historic sites like the Ho Chi Minh Trail.

Detailed Itinerary

Dong Hoi is approximately 160 kilometers from Hue, about a five-hour drive. However, traveling by private car may take a bit longer. Because this mode of transport allows you to stop at various tourist attractions along the way. The journey begins in the morning from your accommodation in Dong Hoi. After a few hours of driving, we recommend making your first stop at Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River. These sites were designated as the boundary dividing North and South Vietnam in 1954. Hien Luong Bridge, spanning the Ben Hai River, stands as a poignant symbol of the pain, division, and separation experienced during that time, as well as the enduring Vietnamese desire for peace and national reunification. Today, Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River are well-known historic landmarks in Quang Tri province, attracting numerous history enthusiasts.

The next historic site on your trip should be La Vang Holy Land, located in Hai Lang District. This site is a significant destination for Catholic pilgrims. There are several theories about the origin of the name “La Vang.” One explanation is that Catholics seeking refuge in the forest called out (La) for help, and their cries echoed (Vang) through the trees, leading to the area becoming known as La Vang Holy Land. Another interpretation is that the name reflects the cries and echoes of the hard life people had in the jungle. On April 13, 1961, La Vang was designated the National Marian Center of Vietnam. The La Vang Catholic Festival, known as Kieu in Vietnamese, is held annually on August 15 and attracts thousands of visitors each year.

1. How to book a private car? Please choose your favorite itinerary on our website, submit the booking with your full request information in our booking form. After receiving your booking information, our sales team will contact you within 24 hours. If you don’t receive any update from us, your booking/email maybe arrive in Spam Folder, please resend your booking to our email travovibes@gmail.com or send the message (Imessage/Whatsapp/Viber/Line) to +840929758065 (Ms.Bem), we will check and support you as soon as possible. As soon as you receive your booking confirmation, we will send you the invoice confirmation so that you can more easily control your trip. 2. How to pay for Private Car Trip? We are flexible with your payment with 2 options below:

Option 1: Pay by Visa/MasterCard (a 3% fee applies) or pay the driver at the end of each trip in cash (USD/VND, according to the current exchange rate).
Option 2: Pay in advance by Visa/Master Card online, we will send you the link for payment in your booking confirmation details.

3. Can the driver speak English? Actually, the driver can only speak basic English. If you have a more difficult question or more requirement for the history of each place, he may be unable to answer. Because he is just the driver, not an English tour guide so his English is limited. Besides, the number of good English drivers is limited, so you should confirm your booking and book in advance early to make sure we can easily hold on to the good driver for your trip. We suggest you should book the English Tour Guide with the extra fee if you would like to know more about the details of each places during your trip 4. Is this a private transfer or sharing with other travelers? This is the private car so there will be only your team, not sharing with other travelers, you can join with your friends in our car to save your budget. Normally, the maximum 4-seat car is 3 pax & luggage, the 7-seat car is maximum 5 pax & small luggage, the 16-seat car is maximum 12 pax & luggage. 5. What are the types of cars? Are they new? Most of our cars are new with strong air conditioner, year from 2016 – 2019 Our cars are:

6. Is the price per car or per person? How about entrance ticket payment?

For private car, all the price will be for per car not per person
The price will exclude the entrance ticket, you can pay for yourself or our driver will help you buy it.

7. How can I meet the driver at the Airport? The driver will wait for you at the Arrival Gate with a welcome sign including your name attached. You can see him there when you finish getting your luggage with domestic flights & documents stamped for international flights. Please update us your correct flight number details so we will more easily check your flight situation in case it’s delayed. Please save our hotline/local phone +840929758065 (Ms.Bem) in case you can’t find the driver or need any urgent support at Airport, we will support you as soon as possible. 8. How about the cancellation policy? Cancellation Policy and Important notes:

We are happy for you to cancel your private car booking at least 2 days before your departure date. If you cancel your booking at the last minute, it’s really hard for us to rearrange everything for our car because we hold on to everything for your booking.

50% of your total booking will be charged if you cancel from 48 hours prior to your scheduled trip date.

100% of your total booking will be charged if you cancel from 24 hours prior to your scheduled trip date.

If you want to stop swimming at the beach, we are happy to stop for you. But we won’t take responsibility if there are any issues.
