Nha Trang is a stunning coastal city in Central Vietnam. With numerous must-see attractions, we’d like to suggest a few highlights:

Your journey starts with a pickup from your hotel at 08:30 AM after you’ve enjoyed a delightful breakfast, followed by an exciting city tour.

1. The Institute of Oceanography

Known as the earliest scientific research facility in Vietnam, the Institute of Oceanography is located 6 km from the center of Nha Trang city, which specializes in marine creatures’ behavior.

Museum of Marine Life and Oceanographic Museum are two areas that will bring you many surprises and interesting experiences. The Museum of Marine Life is home to samples of marine creatures. You will see more than 20,000 specimens of 4,000 different species of marine life. In addition, the museum also displays many specimens of freshwater creatures collected in the Gulf of Thailand, the East Sea, and Cambodia.

2. Long Son pagoda

Situated on Trai Thuy Hill, Long Son Pagoda, also known as White Buddha Pagoda and originally named Dang Long Tu, is renowned for housing the largest outdoor Buddha statue in Vietnam, as recorded in the Vietnamese record book. Built in the 19th century and extensively renovated, with a complete rebuild in 1940, Long Son Pagoda showcases architectural and sculptural art reflective of modern influences. Over the centuries, it has become the largest surviving temple in Khanh Hoa province, making it a prominent and picturesque landmark in the beautiful city of Nha Trang.

3. Ponagar Cham Tower

Located just 2 km north of Nha Trang City’s center, the beautiful Ponagar Tower sits gracefully on a small hill overlooking the peaceful Cai River. Historically, the Cham people of Khánh Hòa revered the goddess Ponagar, who was believed to protect and care for their lives, providing them with land, agriculture, and sustenance. Worshipped as Thien Y Thanh Mau, she was considered a supreme deity by the ancient Cham people. They regarded her as the origin of life, as she was believed to have created the soil, water, trees, and food that sustained them.

4. Hon Chong Promontory

Located about 3 km northeast of Nha Trang’s city center, Hon Chong Promontory features a large cluster of uniquely shaped rocks stacked from the shoreline out to the sea. Nearby, a smaller rock formation called Hon Vo rests at the foot of the eastern hill. This serene spot, almost entirely removed from the bustling city streets, is one of the most beautiful places to take in the coastal scenery. The view unfolds into an expansive seascape where the blue ocean meets the sky, creating an endless sense of space and tranquility.

5. Dam Market Shopping

Dam Market is Nha Trang’s most popular shopping destination, catering to the needs of locals with a wide variety of items ranging from everyday essentials to Nha Trang specialties and souvenirs. Tourists often visit Dam Market to purchase dried foods, seafood, and unique souvenirs. Exploring this market offers an authentic glimpse into the local way of life and the traditional shopping experience. Many visitors appreciate that there is little pressure to buy, which leaves a positive impression on those who come to the market.

The trip concludes back at your hotel around 5:00 PM.
