Most importantly, unwind at our remarkable Eco Lodge and immerse yourself in the natural surroundings and the sounds of local wildlife.

Itinerary

1. Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Lay – Cai Be Floating Market – Eco Lodge

You will be picked up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City (details to be confirmed) and depart for Cai Lay. On the way, stop for photos at Tan An, known for its flat rice fields. Next, take a motorboat to explore the Cai Be Floating Markets, where you can watch vendors trading fruits and various goods from their boats. Walk through small villages to explore orchards, fruit plantations, and handicraft villages, or simply relax at our charming eco-resort.

Enjoy a delicious lunch featuring Mekong Delta specialties, including fresh river food, served in the scenic gardens of the Mekong Lodge Riverside Restaurant. In the afternoon, participate in a cooking class and savor the dishes you prepare for dinner. Overnight stay at the Eco Lodge Resort in a comfortable bungalow.

2. Cai Be – Cao Lanh – Chau Doc

After breakfast, return to Cai Be by boat and then head to Cao Lanh. Visit the Xeo Quit base, a former Viet Cong stronghold. Enjoy a boat cruise through the swamps and forest. Following lunch, travel to Chau Doc and check into your hotel upon arrival. Explore Sam Mountain and its intricately carved pagoda. Witness the sunset over the Vietnamese-Cambodian border. Dinner will be at your own expense. Spend the night at your selected hotel in Chau Doc.

3. Chau Doc – Tra Su – Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a morning boat trip to explore a floating fish farm and a Cham weaving village. Then, head to the Tra Su cajuput forest, celebrated for its pristine natural beauty and rich biodiversity. Take a boat ride through the forest and immerse yourself in the tranquil surroundings, enjoying the striking views of cajuput trees, the fragrant flowers, and the soothing sounds of birds, insects, and wildlife. From the observation post, you can gaze over the nearly 900-hectare forest, home to many bird and animal species, including some rare ones. Enjoy lunch in the forest, relax in a hammock, or try walking across a Monkey Bridge. Return to Ho Chi Minh City to conclude your trip.
