Itinerary

HANOI A HALF DAY BIKING TOUR (MORNING PROGRAM)
Duration: Approximately 4.5 hours
Overview:
Between 8:45 and 9:00 AM, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and take you to our bicycle garage in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. The tour begins with a bike ride around Thang Long – Hanoi, the ancient capital of Vietnam for over 1000 years, showcasing key highlights such as:
- The Grand Cathedral, a symbol of Christianity completed in 1886 during French colonial rule.
- The French Opera House.
- The statue of King Ly Thai To, who established Thang Long (now Hanoi) as the capital in 1010 AD under the Ly Dynasty, marking the start of a new era.
The tour continues along the Thang Long Ceramic Road, where you may have the chance to visit a renowned local family specializing in handcrafted traditional bronze work.
Next, you’ll ride to the scenic West Lake, enjoying its beautiful landscape and numerous historic temples and pagodas. You’ll also have the opportunity to see the two large ceramic dragons commemorating Hanoi’s 1000-year anniversary.
By midday, you’ll enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch. After some relaxation, you’ll have time to take in the fresh air of West Lake before cycling back to the Hanoi Old Quarter.

HANOI A HALF DAY BIKING TOUR (AFTERNOON PROGRAM)
Duration: Approximately 4.5 hours
Overview:
Between 15:45 and 16:00, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and take you to our bicycle garage in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. The tour will then explore key highlights of Thang Long – Hanoi, which has been the capital of Vietnam for over 1000 years. You’ll see:
- Long Bien Bridge, a notable Hanoi landmark built between 1899 and 1902 in French architectural style.
- The French Opera House.
- The statue of King Ly Thai To, who designated Thang Long (modern-day Hanoi) as the capital in 1010 AD, initiating a new era.
- The Grand Cathedral, a symbol of Christianity completed in 1886 during French colonial rule.
Next, you’ll bike past historic sites such as the National Flag, symbolizing independence and freedom; the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, showcasing French-style architecture; and the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the mausoleum, museum, and square. You’ll also pass by the Parliament House and the Presidential Palace, central to Vietnam’s political offices.
The tour continues to West Lake, renowned for its scenic beauty, historic temples, and pagodas. You’ll have the chance to view the two large ceramic dragons that commemorate Hanoi’s 1000-year anniversary.
In the late afternoon, you’ll enjoy a traditional Vietnamese dinner. After a relaxing meal, you can savor the fresh air of West Lake before cycling back to the Hanoi Old Quarter.

Travel Tip:
- Bring personal items like a raincoat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and glasses. It’s also a good idea to stretch or exercise for 3-5 minutes before starting the bike tour.
