Itinerary

1. Day 1: Hanoi Arrival & Ha Noi City Half day tour (L): 

In the morning: Pick up at Hanoi International Airport.

In the afternoon: Enjoy lunch, followed by a tour to explore the beauty of Hanoi:

• Temple of Literature: The most famous temple in Hanoi, which also served as Vietnam’s first university.
• St. Joseph’s Cathedral: A late 19th-century Gothic Revival church that is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Hanoi, serving nearly 4 million Catholics in the country.
• Hoan Kiem Lake: Visit the legendary lake and Turtle Tower.

Drop off at your hotel in Hanoi.

2. Day 2: Ha Noi – Ninh Binh – Ha Noi (B,L): 

08:00 AM: The guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and depart for Ninh Binh city. The visit includes:

• Hoa Lu Ancient Capital: Explore two temples built on the site of the old royal palace, one dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang and the other to King Le Dai Hanh. This visit provides an opportunity to learn about the feudal dynasties and significant periods in Vietnamese history.

• Lunch: Enjoy a meal.

• Trang An: Visit this popular tourist attraction and take a boat trip to explore a complex of caves, including Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, and Nau Ruou Cave. Experience the mysterious and wild beauty of the landscape, reminiscent of Halong Bay on land.

06:30 PM: Return to your hotel in Hanoi.

3. Day 3:  2 days 1 night Itinerary Le Journey – Lan Ha Cruise 5* 

Day 1 | Hanoi – Explore Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay

Explore HaLong Bay on Le Journey Cruises for 2 days, perfect for travelers looking to venture off the beaten path to discover the authentic local culture and hidden beauty of HaLong Bay and Lan Ha Bay.

08:00 – 08:30 | Pick-up Time

For those who book our transfer service, pick-up will be from hotels around Hanoi Old Quarter to begin the journey to HaLong Bay – Lan Ha Bay.

If you are not in Hanoi for pick-up, please ensure you arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor by the specified time.

11:30 – 12:00 | Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor

12:00 | Transfer to the Main Boat

Transfer to the main boat by tender. Embark on Le Journey Cruises and receive a warm welcome. Enjoy a welcome drink while our cruise manager gives a briefing and safety introduction. Then, check into your cabin.

13:00 | Enjoy a Fabulous Lunch

A fabulous lunch is served as Le Journey Cruises begins sailing into the magnificent Ha Long Bay, an extension of HaLong Wonder that is quieter with fewer tourists. Pass by famous spots like Finger Islet, Candle Islet, and thousands of uniquely shaped limestone towers and islands.

15:30 | Explore Tra Bau Floating Village

Option 1: Swim at Ba Trai Dao Island

Option 2: Take a small boat to visit the fishing village of Tra Bau and enjoy a kayaking experience to explore the area, known as a filming location for Kong Skull Island (King Kong) in Quang Ninh in 2018.

17:00 – 18:00 | Sunset Party, Happy Hour, and Cooking Class

Return to Le Journey Cruises and relax. Enjoy the magical sunset in Lan Ha Bay with our “Sunset Party” and “Happy Hour Deal.”

Participate in a cooking demonstration where our cruise chef will teach you how to make traditional Vietnamese dishes such as fresh or dried spring rolls and how to carve different kinds of vegetables and fruits.

19:00 | Savor a Deluxe Dinner

Enjoy a delicious dinner prepared and served by our wonderful onboard catering staff. The night view of Lan Ha Bay is incredible.

21:00 – 23:00 | Special Activities

4. Day 4:  2 days 1 night Itinerary Le Journey – Lan Ha Cruise 5*

06:00 – 07:00 | Morning on Le Journey Cruises

Enjoy a light breakfast as Le Journey Cruises continues to navigate through the stunning karst towers. Tea, coffee, and a light breakfast are served in the fresh air and peaceful surroundings.

08:00 | Explore Lan Ha Bay – Ha Long Bay

Visit the Dark and Bright Cave, known for its pristine natural beauty and poetic, captivating seascape. Take photos of the romantic and lyrical scenery. This is also the perfect time for tourists to enjoy bamboo boating or kayaking, offering an exciting opportunity to explore the true beauty of the limestone mountains and the clear blue sky of Lan Ha Bay.

09:00 | Return to the Boat and Check-Out

10:00 | Brunch Time – Fun Time

As you enjoy a well-prepared brunch, Le Journey Cruises slowly navigates through the emerald waters and thousands of karst mountains towards the harbor.

11:00 – 11:30 | Return to Tuan Chau Harbor

15:00 – 15:30 | Arrival at Your Hotel in Hanoi

Hanoi – Flight to Saigon – Tan Son Nhat Airport – Ho Chi Minh Hotel

Hanoi – Flight to Saigon:

A driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi and take you to Noi Bai Airport for your flight to Saigon.

Tan Son Nhat Airport – Ho Chi Minh Hotel:

A driver will pick you up at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and drop you off at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

5. Day 5:  Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh (B,L) 

07:30 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to My Tho.

Enjoy a scenic drive through the provincial roads of southern Vietnam, passing paddy rice fields, pineapple plantations, orchards, and small hamlets (approximately 2 hours).

Upon arrival in My Tho, board a local motorboat and cruise along Unicorn Island and Phoenix Island, stopping at the famous Unicorn Island.

On Unicorn Island, visit a beekeeping farm to sample natural pure honey, honey wine, rice wine, and banana wine.

Take a leisurely walk through the village and a rowing boat ride along the natural water coconut canal to observe the local daily life in the Mekong Delta.

Continue your motorboat trip to Ben Tre province to visit a handmade coconut candy workshop. Then transfer to a small motorboat and travel along the lush, green canals, stopping at a local restaurant for a Vietnamese lunch. After lunch, head to another area on Unicorn Island.

• Enjoy various tropical fruits at an orchard garden while listening to traditional Southern music.
• A local boat will take you back to My Tho, where you will have half an hour to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda before the bus takes you back to Saigon.

05:30 PM: Drop-off at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

6. Day 6:  Ho Chi Minh Hotel – Cu Chi Tunnel/ Ho Chi Minh City Half day tour – Tan Son Nhat Airport (B,L)

08:00 AM: Your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City to begin your tour.

Option 1: Cu Chi Tunnel

Visit the Cu Chi Tunnel, a historic site known for its role in the Vietnam War, now considered a heroic district for its significant contribution to the anti-American war efforts.

Option 2: Ho Chi Minh City Half-Day Tour

Visit the following landmarks:

• War Remnants Museum
• Reunification Palace
• Central Post Office
• Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon

Lunch:

• Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon:

• After lunch, your driver will transfer you to Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
