1. Robin Hill & Dalat Cable Car Station

Robin Hill, perched on Prenn Pass—the most scenic pass in Da Lat—is renowned for its breathtaking views. From the hill, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the serene city of Da Lat. Also known as Dalat Cable Car Station, Robin Hill is where the 2,267-meter-long cable car journey begins, taking you from Robin Hill to Truc Lam Zen Monastery.

2. Truc Lam Zen Monastery

Truc Lam Da Lat Monastery is Vietnam’s largest monastery, situated on Phuong Hoang Mountain, approximately 5 kilometers south of Da Lat’s city center. Established by Venerable Thich Thanh Tu, this monastery stands as a stunning architectural masterpiece nestled beside Tuyen Lam Lake. From the lake, visitors can take a small path with 140 stone steps, leading through the expansive pine forests to reach the serene monastery above.

3. Tuyen Lam Lake

Tuyen Lam Lake, situated about 7 km from the center of Dalat, is the largest freshwater lake in the city, covering 350 hectares. Surrounded by pine forests and dotted with small islands, the lake offers visitors stunning natural beauty and a tranquil atmosphere.

4. Datanla Waterfall

Datanla Waterfall, with a height of 20 meters, maintains a steady flow of water throughout the year. Unlike some waterfalls, it doesn’t create a lot of foam or noise, offering a serene and peaceful experience. The calm natural scenery makes it an ideal spot for sightseeing. Additionally, Datanla Waterfall is popular for its adventure activities, such as swinging, sliding, and climbing, which attract young travelers seeking excitement.

5. Bao Dai King’s Summer Palace

Palace III, also known as Bao Dai’s Summer Palace, is situated about 2 km from downtown Dalat on a pine hill along Trieu Viet Vuong Street. The palace is set within a striking French architectural complex, featuring a grand building nestled amid a picturesque flower garden and a serene, harmonious lake. Palace III is a popular destination in Dalat, offering visitors a stunning blend of modern architecture and natural beauty.

6. Dalat Flower Garden

Dalat Flower Gardens is centrally located, facing the scenic Xuan Huong Lake. It showcases a vibrant collection of Dalat’s most stunning flowers, including roses, mimosa, daisies, azaleas, hydrangeas, gerberas, petunias, orchids, and cacti. Strolling through the garden feels like stepping into a floral paradise, enveloped by a kaleidoscope of colors and fragrances.

7. A giant golden statue of Sakyamuni Buddha

The Sakyamuni Buddha statue, constructed in 2002 from reinforced concrete, stands 24 meters tall and weighs 60 tons at Van Hanh Pagoda. From afar, visitors can admire the Buddha seated gracefully on a lotus, with his right hand holding a lotus blossom, a significant symbol in Buddhism. Beneath the lotus is a decorative mountain, encircled by lush plants and flowers.

8. The Cock Church

The Cock Church, an example of French colonial architecture, is one of the largest churches in Dalat. It earned its name from the large rooster statue atop its bell tower. Construction of the church began in 1931 and was completed in 1942. The church measures 65 meters in length and 47 meters in height, and features 70 stained glass panels in the medieval European style. From the bell tower, visitors can enjoy stunning views of the city.
