Itinerary

Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be – Tien Giang – Ho Chi Minh City

7:30 AM: Depart from Ho Chi Minh City by bus, enjoying views of the green paddy fields stretching towards the horizon during the three-hour drive.

Upon arrival in Cai Be, embark on a boat ride to explore the historic site of a once-famous wholesale floating market on the Tien River. Discover how local trading practices have evolved with modern transportation and agricultural advancements. Observe the area’s diversity and the rich orchard gardens that make it a fruit basket of the lower Mekong River.

Visit the Ba Đức ancient house, which showcases a blend of Western and Eastern architectural styles.

Explore small villages to learn about the local culture. Stop by a family business where locals produce coconut candies and crispy rice popcorn, and visit a small bee farm to enjoy honey tea.

Arrive at Tan Phong Island and immerse yourself in its natural tranquility. Enjoy lunch at a local house featuring Vietnamese cuisine.

Savor fresh fruit while listening to the soothing rhythms of Southern Vietnamese folk music, deeply connected to the culture of the Mekong Delta.

Paddle through the small canals of Tan Phong Island, taking in the serene atmosphere of the Upper Mekong Delta.

Return to Cai Be by boat, then board the bus for the trip back to Ho Chi Minh City. Conclude your trip.
