Itinerary

Day 1: Ha Noi Arival (Meal: No)

Arrival in Hanoi:

Arrive in Hanoi, check into your hotel, and enjoy some free time to explore the Old Quarter at your leisure.

Night 1: Overnight stay at a hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2: Ha Noi – Ha Long Cruise (B/L/D)

7:45-8:15: Hotel pick-up. 10:00: Quick break at a rest stop in Hai Duong Province. 12:30: Board the Lavender Cruise, receive a brief orientation, and enjoy a welcome drink before checking into your cabin. 13:15: Savor a lunch featuring fresh regional seafood as you cruise past landmarks like Incense Burner Island, Fighting Cock Islet, and Stone Dog. The Lavender Cruise will take you on a stunning route through Ha Long Bay, away from the crowds. 15:00-16:30: Kayak through breathtaking landscapes with limestone mountains, swim, or relax on the sun deck while taking in the views at Hoa Cuong floating fishing village. Participate in a cooking class on the floating house, where you’ll learn to make fresh or fried spring rolls and mix fish sauce. Pass by Soi Sim Beach and “Rang Dua” Island, anchoring near the Surprising Cave for the night. Enjoy a sunset party and unwind on the sun deck. 19:30: Under the starlit sky, a set-menu dinner with a variety of Vietnamese and Asian dishes is served. Evening Activities: Try your hand at squid fishing with the crew, and enjoy freshly prepared squid, or relax with happy-hour drinks at the bar.
Night 2: Overnight stay on the Halong cruise.

Day 3: Ha Long Bay – Ha Noi  (B/L)

06:15: Start your day with morning exercises on the sun deck. 07:15: Enjoy breakfast, including coffee, tea, and baked goods, on board. 08:00: Visit the Surprising Cave (Hang Sung Sot), discovered by the French in 1901 and opened to tourists in 1936. It’s now a must-see attraction and a symbol of Ha Long’s geological significance. 09:30: It’s check-out time. Relax on the sun deck or in the restaurant while taking in the bay’s scenery. 10:15: Savor a traditional Vietnamese lunch as you cruise back to the pier. 12:00: Disembark from the cruise. A car will be waiting to drive you back to Hanoi. 17:00: Arrive in Hanoi, concluding the trip.
Night 3: Overnight stay at a hotel in Hanoi.

Day 4: Ha Noi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc

8:00-8:30 AM: Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in the Old Quarter, and you’ll head to Ninh Binh City. 10:30-11:00 AM: Arrive at Hoa Lu, the Ancient Capital of Vietnam. In 968, Dinh Bo Linh declared himself King, and Hoa Lu served as the capital for 41 years (968-1009). During this time, the Dinh dynasty (King Dinh Tien Hoang) and later the Le dynasty (King Le Dai Hanh) ruled the country, known as Dai Co Viet. In 1010, King Ly Thai To relocated the capital to Thang Long (present-day Hanoi), making Hoa Lu the former citadel. Today, there are two temples at the site of the old royal palace, one dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang and the other to King Le Dai Hanh. This visit offers insight into Vietnam’s feudal dynasties and historical periods. 12:00 PM: Enjoy a buffet lunch at Duc Tuan restaurant in Tam Coc, featuring Asian-style local dishes and organic vegetables. The restaurant overlooks the river, allowing you to take in the scenic view as you dine. 1:30 PM: After lunch, board a rowing boat at Tam Coc Harbour. Local villagers row the boat using both hands and legs, taking you through three spectacular caves surrounded by limestone karsts. During the harvest season, you’ll see golden rice fields along the way. The boat ride lasts about two hours, offering a peaceful view of mountains, rice paddies, and temples, as well as a glimpse into local culture and daily life. Optional Activities: You can also enjoy a bike ride or a buffalo ride. 4:00 PM: Depart from Tam Coc and head back to Hanoi, arriving around 6:30 PM.
Night 4: Overnight stay at a hotel in Hanoi.

Day 5: Ha Noi – Back Home (B)

Final Day in Hanoi: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, followed by free time for shopping or exploring Hanoi at your own pace before your departure.

• A high season surcharge applies for bookings from October 1, 2018, to May 1, 2019, and October 1, 2019, to December 31, 2019: $15 USD for the 3-star package, $25 USD for the 4-star package, and $40 USD for the 5-star package per person. Contact us for more details.

Children Policies:

• Children under 4 years old sharing a bed with parents stay free of charge (no extra bed provided).
• Children aged 5–8 years old pay 75% of the tour price when sharing a bed with parents or pay the full price for an extra bed.
