Upon arrival, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel for check-in (from 2:00 PM). The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace.

 

As one of Asia’s most vibrant cities, Bangkok offers a blend of magnificent temples and palaces, authentic canals, bustling markets, and lively nightlife. There’s something for everyone here.

 

Take advantage of your free time to explore this dynamic metropolis. You might enjoy a river taxi ride to the lively Chinatown, stroll through local markets for some shopping, indulge in a traditional Thai massage, or venture down the famous Khao San Road for a street food adventure.

DAY 2: Bangkok city sightseeing

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, then visit the renowned Wat Po to witness the tranquil morning chanting ritual performed by the monks—an inspiring way to begin your day. Explore the temple grounds and admire the impressive gold-plated reclining Buddha.

In the afternoon, embark on a long-tail boat cruise along the Chao Phraya River, discovering the winding ‘klongs’ (canals) of Thonburi. DAY 3: Chiang Mai Discovery

DAY 3: Chiang Mai Discovery

The next morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted and begin your tour with a visit to the revered Doi Suthep Temple, perched on a hilltop offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

 

Proceed to the charming Meo Hill Tribe Village, nestled on a picturesque hillside, where you can see the Meo tribespeople in their vibrant traditional attire.

 

Next, explore the Royal Park Ratchaphruek, a sprawling botanical garden covering 80 hectares. Discover its various zones, including the striking Ho Kham Luang Royal Pavilion, and explore the Orchid Garden, featuring rare orchids and international garden designs.

 

Later, visit Bor Sang Village, famous for its traditional paper umbrella craftsmanship. Capture some wonderful photos of the intricate umbrellas.

Depart from Bangkok and head southwest to Ratchaburi Province to explore the vibrant Damnoen Saduak floating market. Along the way, stop at a salt field to witness locals working with traditional tools in the largest salt production area in Thailand. Next, visit the Mae Klong Railway Market, a unique open-air market where train tracks run through the middle. When trains pass, vendors quickly retract their canopies, adding to the market’s lively charm. Here, you can browse locally grown fruits, freshly caught seafood, dried spices, peppers, and other local delicacies.

 

Continue your journey to a coconut garden where you can observe the process of making sugar from coconut syrup. Then, board a long-tail boat and cruise along the winding canals to reach the Damnoen Saduak floating market.
