Itinerary

Day 1: Ha Noi Arival (Meal: No)

Arrival in Hanoi:

Check into the hotel, enjoy a welcome drink, and then take some time to explore Hanoi on your own.

Night 1: Overnight stay at a hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2: Ha Noi – Ha Long Cruise (B/L/D)

08:00 – 08:30: Our guide and bus will pick you up from your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter.

08:30: Depart for Halong Bay, a 3.5-hour journey.

10:00: Arrive in Hai Duong Province for a 20-minute break.

12:00: Reach Bai Chay Harbor in Halong Bay.

12:15: Board the Majestic Cruise, enjoy a welcome drink, receive a briefing about the cruise and safety procedures, and check into your cabin.

12:30: Enjoy a Vietnamese seafood and vegetarian lunch while cruising through the stunning Halong Bay, taking in the impressive rock formations.

14:30: Arrive at Van Gia Floating Fishing Village. Choose between a rowing boat tour or kayaking to explore the village.

15:30: Continue your exploration of the bay.

16:00: Visit the Halong Pearl Farm Village and enjoy a swim in the bay.

17:30: Return to the Majestic Cruise and relax with complimentary fresh fruit.

18:00: Participate in a cooking class led by the cruise chef, learning to prepare traditional Vietnamese dishes such as spring rolls.

19:30: Dinner on the cruise, featuring special dishes.

21:00: Evening entertainment includes card games, chess, karaoke, and squid fishing. Overnight stay on the Majestic Cruise.

Night 2: Overnight on the Halong Cruise.

Day 3: Ha Long Bay – Ha Noi  (B/L)

06:30: Start your day by watching the sunrise and participating in a Tai Chi session on the sundeck.

07:00: Enjoy a morning tea or coffee while taking in the bay’s landscape and have breakfast.

08:00: Arrive at Sung Sot Cave (Amazing Cave) for a guided tour and exploration.

10:00: Check out and continue to enjoy the stunning cruise through the bay.

11:00: Have lunch on board the cruise.

12:00: Disembark at Halong Bay harbor, bid farewell to the crew, and conclude your cruise.

12:30: Return to Hanoi by shuttle bus.

14:30: Make a stop in Hai Duong Province to visit a ceramic workshop.

16:00 – 16:30: Arrive back in Hanoi and end your trip.

Night 3: Overnight stay at the hotel in Hanoi.

Day 4: Ha Noi – Shuttle Bus to Sapa – Lao Chai Village  – Ta Van Trekking Tour  (B/L/D)

6:30 – 7:00: Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and depart for Lao Cai City, traveling on the new Noi Bai Highway, which will take approximately 5 hours.

12:30: Arrive in Sapa town and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

13:00: After lunch, leave the hotel and begin trekking down the valley to Muong Hoa Stream, then proceed to the Black H’mong village of Lao Chai. The Black H’mong are one of the largest minority groups in Sapa. Continue your trek along the Muong Hoa Stream and through rice paddies to Ta Van village, where you’ll learn about the Zay ethnic people. Visit traditional Zay houses made of wood and bamboo with clay floors. Return to Sapa in the late afternoon.

Note: If you prefer not to hike, we can arrange a private car and tour guide for an additional $25 per person.

Evening: After dinner, enjoy some free time to explore Sapa town.

Night 4: Overnight stay at the hotel in Sapa.

Day 5: Cat Cat Village Trekking Tour – Ha Noi (B/L)

7:00: Have breakfast at the hotel.

9:00: Trek from the hotel to Cat Cat Village, home to the H’mong people. Explore the village, visit a waterfall, and see the hydroelectric power station built by the French. Learn about local culture, customs, and traditional crafts, including weaving, silver carving, and hand-forged agricultural tools.

12:30: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Sapa Town.

15:00: Drive back to Hanoi.

21:00: Arrive in Hanoi and be dropped off at your hotel.

Night 5: Overnight stay at the hotel in Hanoi.

Day 6: Ha Noi – Free and Easy (B)

Free and Easy Day in Hanoi

Spend the day exploring Hanoi at your own pace. Enjoy shopping and sampling local cuisine on your own. If you’re interested in joining any daily tours, please contact us.

Night 6: Overnight stay at the hotel in Hanoi.

Day 7: Ha Noi Departure (B)

Terms and Conditions:

• Valid from June 6 to December 31. Tours are available daily.
• Blackout dates: January 24 to January 28 (Tet holiday in Vietnam).
• Single travelers can book at an additional $173 USD per person for the 3-star option, $273 USD per person for the 4-star option, or $609 USD per person for the 5-star option.
• A high season surcharge of $20 USD for the 3-star package, $30 USD for the 4-star package, and $40 USD for the 5-star package applies to bookings from October 1, 2018, to May 1, 2019, and October 1, 2019, to December 31, 2019. Please contact us for more details.
• A surcharge of $15 USD for the 3-star package, $25 USD for the 4-star package, and $45 USD for the 5-star package applies per person for the gala dinner on the Halong cruise on December 24 and December 31, 2019/2020. Please contact us for more details.

Children Policies:

• Children under 4 years old sharing a bed with parents stay free of charge (no additional bed provided).
• Children aged 5 to 8 years old will be charged 75% of the tour price if sharing a bed with parents, or the full price if they require an extra bed.

Notes:

• The itinerary is subject to change due to unforeseen weather conditions.
• In case of full bookings, the hotel and Halong cruise will be substituted with accommodations of similar standard.
• Daily small group tours are available for groups ranging from 2 to 15 people.
