Itinerary

1-Day Great Ocean Road & 12 Apostles Tour

We’ll start our adventure by departing Melbourne and heading directly to the eastern end of the Great Ocean Road, kicking off our journey along this breathtaking coastal route. Our first stop will be for morning tea, where you can unwind and take in the surroundings before visiting Memorial Arch for some iconic photo opportunities.

Next, we’ll stop for lunch in the charming beachside town of Apollo Bay, where you can enjoy local dishes and recharge for an afternoon of spectacular sights. After lunch, we’ll take a guided 20-minute bushwalk to the Cascades in Melba Gully, a tranquil spot surrounded by nature.

From there, we’ll continue to the Twelve Apostles, one of Australia’s most renowned landmarks. These striking limestone formations rise dramatically from the ocean, offering stunning photo opportunities—so make sure your camera is ready!

Afterward, we’ll visit Loch Ard Gorge, a gorge surrounded by towering limestone cliffs. Here, we’ll explore highlights such as the Archway, Razorback, and Dumpling Pots, while also learning about Australia’s most famous shipwreck.

Our journey back to Melbourne will take us through several quaint country towns as we travel inland.

Note: During peak periods, the tour may operate in reverse.

Please keep in mind that this is a large and popular area, meaning the tour includes a fair amount of driving. We’ve packed the day with plenty of amazing stops to ensure you see the best of the Great Ocean Road. It will be a long, but unforgettable day!
