- Minimum age for diving is 12 years. Restrictions may apply based on health conditions and diving within 24 hours of a flight. All divers must complete a medical questionnaire before being approved to dive. Please check the questionnaire here and discuss any potential issues with us prior to booking.
- Date changes are allowed up to 48 hours before departure (subject to availability). For cancellation policies, please see here.
- A surcharge of $70 per person applies on Queensland public holidays, payable onboard. A $120/person surcharge applies on Christmas Day (December 25th).
Itinerary
1-Day Great Barrier Reef Cruise Deluxe
Board the boat from Cairns at 8:00 am, where a safety briefing and snorkeling demonstration will prepare you for your reef adventure. Enjoy a hot breakfast roll as you head to the first reef, where you can dive into the ocean for a scuba experience.
The reef locations visited may vary depending on the weather, including sites like Hastings Reef, Saxon Reef, Norman Reef, Breaking Patches Reef, or Jorgensen Patch, each with unique marine life and excellent diving conditions.
After your first dive, indulge in a delicious lunch and take in the scenic views. The afternoon brings a visit to another reef location, where you can dive again, snorkel, swim, or relax on deck. The tour concludes with a leisurely return to Cairns around 4:30 pm.

Tour Itinerary: This itinerary can be customized to fit your travel time frame, style, budget, and expectations.
Payment: A 30% deposit of the total price is required to confirm your booking once the itinerary is finalized. The remaining balance is due 15 days before your arrival.

Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the trip's duration. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct documentation. Travel Vibes is not liable for any issues arising from insufficient or incorrect travel documents.
Travel Insurance: It is your responsibility to secure international travel insurance and review your policy before departure. Ensure that your insurance provides adequate coverage for personal accidents, medical expenses, evacuation and repatriation, baggage loss, and trip cancellation or interruption. Travelers with pre-existing medical conditions should verify coverage with their insurance provider. Apart from local travel insurance included in sightseeing tickets, Travel Vibes does not provide travel insurance unless specifically requested and paid for separately from the tour price.
