- Hoi An – My Son Sanctuary – Hoi An/Hoi An Bike Tour a half day
Option 1: My Son Half-Day Tour

In the morning, depart from your hotel in Hoi An for a visit to My Son Sanctuary. This was a significant religious and educational center of the ancient Cham civilization, which ruled central Vietnam from the 2nd to 15th centuries. My Son is one of five UNESCO World Heritage sites in Vietnam, making it a must-visit for those interested in architecture and history.
The complex features Hindu-like towers and temples dating from the 4th to 13th centuries. Cham religion was heavily influenced by Hinduism, and many temples are dedicated to deities such as Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva.
Estimated duration: 4.5 hours
Option 2: Hoi An Countryside Bike Tour

In the morning, set off on a scenic half-day bicycle tour of the countryside around Hoi An. Pedal through peaceful rice paddies to reach Cam Thanh village, where you’ll experience local life. The village, once a wartime shelter, is now known for its thatched-roof cottages made from water coconut leaves. Spend time with local fishermen, learning their trade, before boarding a bamboo basket boat to try your hand at crab or fish catching. Afterward, relax with some fresh coconut water before cycling back, enjoying the beautiful landscape on your return journey to Hoi An.
Estimated duration: 3 hours
- Hoi An – Golden Bridge – Hue
Depart for Hue City in the morning, with a day-long exploration of the stunning Ba Na Hills along the way. Begin your adventure with an exhilarating cable car ride to the mist-covered summit, where you’ll see the magnificent Golden Bridge, supported by giant moss-covered hands, offering spectacular views of the surrounding hills. Once a French colony, the area presents a unique blend of European and Vietnamese cultures. Visit the old French village, marvel at the juxtaposition of French architecture in a Vietnamese mountain setting, and explore the impressive Linh Ung Pagoda and Giant Buddha statue. Don’t miss the vibrant flower garden at Le Jardin D’Amour.
Continue your journey over the scenic Hai Van Pass, the most picturesque coastal road in Vietnam. Pause at Lap An Lagoon, a serene brackish water area with an oyster farm and mountains in the backdrop, to enjoy a refreshing drink and the cool breeze.
Estimated duration: 8 hours
- City Hue/ local foods walking tour at night upon request
Take a short trip to the countryside to visit Thanh Toan Bridge. As you relax on the bridge, you’ll witness the lively local market and the verdant rural landscape of Vietnam. The pine-covered hills and the tranquil green lake are sights you won’t soon forget.

After touring the countryside, visit the Citadel, modeled after an ancient fortress, housing numerous palaces and temples within its massive walls. Although many buildings were damaged during wartime, restoration efforts are underway to return them to their former splendor. Explore the Citadel’s treasures, including Thai Hoa Palace, The To Temple, and the Royal Theater, before visiting the Thien Mu Pagoda, one of Vietnam’s oldest Buddhist temples, established in the 17th century.
